The rare chance to win a race-ready 2010 Spike/Ford-Esslinger Midget race car is now available until January 2011.

As a fund raising project the Highbanks Hall of Fame/National Midget Auto Racing Museum is offering this complete midget race car to a lucky individual. The museum features a "National Midget Auto Racing Museum" and the Hall of Fame for the Belleville High Banks track, along with other open wheel racing cars, memorabilia, library and gift shop. The facility is located in Belleville, which is in North Central Kansas.

John Godfrey of Spike Chassis, put together this project for the facility, and provided many of the components for the car beside chassis construction and final assembly. Esslinger Engineering has provided a Ford-Esslinger engine to power “the state of the art” race car.

For each $20 donation, individuals will receive a ticket to win the race car along with other prizes. Secondary  prizes include: two tickets and suite passes to the 2011 Knoxville Nationals,  two tickets to the 2012 Chili Bowl,  two tickets to a choice event at the Belleville High Banks, and more to be announced. Proceeds will benefit the Building and Operating Fund. Drawing will be held at the 2011 Chili Bowl. You need not be present to win, and must be 18 years of age to participate.

This complete race-ready 2010 Spike/Ford-Esslinger is will go to one lucky winner during a drawing during the 2011 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals. All proceeds benefit the Highbanks Hall of Fame/National Midget Auto Racing Museum (Belleville, Kan.).
